The agent of new Fiorentina goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu has revealed the reasons for his client’s move to Florence.
The Viola secured the signing of the Romanian number one earlier this week and Pietro Chiodi said it was a difficult task to finalise his transfer from Steaua Bucharest.
“It was difficult to bring Tatarusanu to Serie A,” he told Dolce-sport.ro. “He is the national team goalkeeper and he had lots of offers.
“He chose Fiorentina for different reasons. When a player moves to another city he needs more things – money, the quality of life in the city of the team and game time. Fiorentina has these things.
“He didn’t want to sign for anyone until after the League and the Cup had finished. We are talking about a very sincere guy.”
