Napoli are reportedly continuing their efforts to sign Pepe Reina permanently from Liverpool.
The goalkeeper spent this season at the Stadio San Paolo on a simple loan deal.
Initial negotiations to buy out the Spanish star name failed and Rafa Benitez implied Reina would not be returning to Italy next term.
However, according to Sky Sport Italia, talks have resumed and Liverpool are now willing to sell for a nominal fee.
The main sticking point would be Reina’s wages, as he is asking for €2.5m-€3m per season.
