There are concerns for Italy’s World Cup game against Uruguay on June 24, as the city of Natal has been struck by floods.
The third Group D game for the Azzurri will be hosted by the Estadio das Dunas in Natal.
According to Sport Mediaset, the heavy storms that have affected the city over the last few hours could prove problematic for the World Cup.
There is flooding in Natal and the Mayor ruled it a state of emergency.
The rains are expected to continue until well into next week, so it remains to be seen whether the flooding will have subsided by the time this match comes round.
