David Trezeguet’s agent has claimed that his client would love to make a return to Italy.
The 36-year-old spent last season on loan at Newell’s Old Boys from parent club River Plate.
But the veteran’s representative has insisted that a switch back to Serie A could be on the cards.
“A return to River Plate? I’ll speak with David in the next few days,” Antonio Caliendo told TuttoJuve.
“But I think he would prefer to play in Italy again.”
The France international spent 11 years at Juventus between 1999 and 2010, winning two Scudetti, and forging an unforgettable partnership with Alessandro Del Piero.
