Colombia star Juan Guillerme Cuadrado admits he is “very happy” that Fiorentina decided to buy him outright.
The winger had been co-owned with Udinese, but the Viola agreed to buy the remaining 50 per cent of his contract for €15m.
“I am very happy that Fiorentina made the move permanent, as it’s a great club in a beautiful city and I am content in this team,” Cuadrado told dinuevostadio.com.
He is currently in Brazil with the Colombia squad, where he provided two assists in the 3-0 victory over Greece.
“It is always important to start a tournament well and we thank God for achieving this result that gives us great confidence.
“Now we have to turn the page and think about the Ivory Coast, a side that will be very difficult thanks to experienced players. We must prepare well so that we can play at 100 per cent.”
