“We wanted the victory, obviously, but you have to respect your opponents and Mexico are a very good side.”
Both Brazil and Mexico remain top of Group A with four points apiece.
This means whoever loses in tomorrow’s Cameroon-Croatia tie is mathematically out of the running for qualification.
