The Giallorossi, who finished second last season under Rudi Garcia and have qualified for the Champions League for 2014-15, are expected to take action in the summer transfer window to boost their squad numbers.

Sporting director Walter Sabatini is described by La Repubblica today as intent on delivering to Garcia a ‘complete and balanced squad’ and that one of the ‘first names on the list’ of potential recruitments is Zenit’s Criscito.

Capped at international level, the 27-year-old is reportedly valued by his Russian employers at between €12m and €15m.

Whilst La Repubblica say that Roma view this as a high valuation, they are still considering making a move for the former Genoa man.
