It is reported that Lazio have tabled an offer of €5.5m for Cagliari defender Davide Astori.
The 27-year-old began his career at Milan before moving to the Sardinian club in 2008, where he has remained ever since.
The Biancocelesti are thought to have been interested in securing his services for some time but, according to Italian outlet Il Messaggero, they will face competition from several other clubs for the player’s signature.
It is said that in order to guarantee his club win the race for Astori, Lazio President Claudio Lotito has also included a number of add-on clauses in the offer.
