Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas “would be honoured and very happy” with an offer from Napoli.

The shot-stopper faces Italy in the World Cup this evening and is eager to put himself in the shop window.

“Personally I haven’t spoken to any Napoli directors, but I cannot rule out them speaking directly to Levante,” agent Ricardo Cabanas told CalcioNapoli24.

“Keylor has made it clear on numerous occasions that he wants to play for a prestigious European club and compete in big international tournaments.

“In that sense, Napoli would be a great opportunity. He is fundamental for Levante and has a contract until June 30 2015, but the player wants to make a step up in quality and we are working for that to happen.

“I can say already that Porto have enquired about him several times. He’ll soon have an EU passport, but will have to wait until early September for the red tape to go through.

“If he were to receive an offer from Napoli, we’d be very happy to listen and Keylor would be honoured.”

Navas was voted best goalkeeper of the Spanish Liga in 2013-14.
