There are reports Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will meet with Mario Balotelli’s agent, but Napoli are also interested.
For some time the suggestions of an Arsenal bid for the Milan striker have been intensifying, fuelled by the fact they now share kit sponsor Puma.
According to the Sunday Star, Wenger has a meeting with agent Mino Raiola in Brazil today, where both men are watching the World Cup.
Balotelli is also in Brazil and hoping to start for Italy against Uruguay on Tuesday.
Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has not ruled out selling SuperMario and would relish the chance to snap up Joel Campbell as part of the deal.
Campbell is owned by Arsenal and impressed in the first two World Cup games for Costa Rica.
However, today’s edition of Tuttosport claims Napoli are prepared to make an offer for Balotelli if they sell Gonzalo Higuain.
Higuain has hinted he’d relish a move to Barcelona, although Napoli released a statement insisting there were no negotiations.
Balotelli would appreciate the Naples destination, as his ex-girlfriend lives in the city with his daughter Pia.
