Lazio President Claudio Lotito has praised his players currently representing the club at the World Cup.
The Biancocelesti have seven members of their squad in Brazil for the football showpiece.
The likes of Antonio Candreva and Miroslav Klose have grabbed the headlines for their performances, and the capital team’s chief has congratulated all those who are playing in South America for his side.
“We have seven players at the World Cup – we are one of the most represented teams around,” he told TGCom24.
“The choices we have made in the market in the past have come back to bear fruit.
“Hopefully the performances our players have put in Brazil can have a positive effect on the team for next season.
“We’re just delighted that our lads are performing on the biggest stage.”
