Australia Coach Ange Postecoglou sees positives from his team’s World Cup campaign, which ended with a 3-0 defeat to Spain today.

The Socceroos head for home having lost all three of their Group B matches but showed no shortage of spirit in Brazil.

"From our perspective, we certainly got some positives out of it and stuff we need to work on," Postecoglou commented after the game against La Roja.

“I think we'll bridge the gap and hopefully come back and be the team that's more dominant than the opposition.

"We wanted to come to this World Cup and try and take it to three absolutely world class teams, and I think we've done that. What we've found out is we're not at that quality yet.”
