Lorenzo Insigne’s agent has revealed his client is still hurting from Italy’s early World Cup exit.
The Napoli forward made just a brief appearance at the tournament in the Azzurri’s 1-0 loss to Costa Rica.
And the goalscorer’s representative has looked to assure fans that the players gave their all in Brazil.
“I saw Lorenzo a couple of times in Brazil and he certainly didn’t look like he was on vacation,” Antonio Ottaiano told Radio Crc.
“He was disappointed about the Costa Rica game and not being able to give any more.
“Lorenzo hopes he can continue with the national team and become an important part of the team.”
