Roma are reportedly set to finalise a deal for Salih Ucan ahead of including him in their preseason plans.
The Giallorossi were confirmed last week by Fenerbahce as in negotiations for the 20-year-old midfielder and reports are that they are due to call him to Italy on Monday to undergo a medical.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s site suggests this and that upon completion of the unspecified deal, the player will then be included in Rudi Garcia’s preseason training plans.
It had otherwise been suggested that Roma were planning to pick up the player this summer and then ship him out on loan elsewhere for 2014-15.
However, speculation is that they themselves may now only be initially signing Ucan on a two-year loan deal costing €2m-per-season, with a purchase option of €11m seen as agreed.
