David Pizarro is reportedly ready to commit to a new contract with Fiorentina, to end speculation of an exit.
The Chilean midfielder’s previous deal with the Viola expired at the end of last month and there had been consistent links with MLS franchise New York City FC.
However, the Corriere dello Sport report that the 34-year-old has resolved to stay in Florence for the coming season.
It is seen that after careful consideration, the former Inter, Roma and Manchester City man will commit to a new contract at the Artemio Franchi.
