Sources deny Man Utd Vidal bid

Italian sources pour could water over claims Manchester United bid £50m and Nani for Juventus star Arturo Vidal.

The report emerged in The Daily Mail on Sunday this morning, suggesting Louis Van Gaal had authorised a proposal worth €63m plus Portuguese winger Nani.

However, Sky Sport Italia insist their own investigations have found no track of a formal offer from Manchester United at all.

The Old Trafford side showed an interest in Vidal and made enquiries some time ago, but according to pundit Gianluca Di Marzio the situation never developed.

Juve have no intention of selling Chile international Vidal, who is also of interest to Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
