According to Calciomercato.com, the Cameroonian forward is heading to Rome for contract negotiations with the Giallorossi.
He recently left Chelsea after only one season at the Premier League side and is said to be keen on a return to Serie A, where he has previously played for Inter.
The Italian website states that the Stadio Olimpico club are ready to offer Eto’o a one-year contract on wages of €3m, with the option of a second season.
