The Bianconeri have been seen in recent days as in increasing negotiations with the Gialloblu to close a deal for their highly rated 21-year-old winger.

Yesterday saw sporting director Fabio Paratici apparently meet with one of Iturbe’s agents in Milan to close out personal terms on a reportedly agreed five-year, €1.5m-a-season contract.

On from this, Paratici is seen as likely to return to talks with Verona to try to seek agreement with them.

Fabio Quagliarella is reported by Tuttosport as having turned down the chance to move to the Bentegodi as part of the deal, whilst Luca Marrone is seen as part of plans at Juve until at least the end of preseason, so the Old Lady is reported as now negotiating on cash-only terms.

Verona are still believed to be pressing for €30m for the player last month they bought outright for €15m, but it is understood a deal could be closed at around €27m.

However, that would include part of the payment being deferred over a period of time.
