Gary Medel’s heart is reportedly set on moving to Inter this summer, whilst talks with Cardiff over valuation continue.
Reports earlier this week emerged that the Nerazzurri were in negotiations with the recently relegated Welsh side over picking up the Chile international in an initial loan deal.
Whilst suggestions in some parts were that the transfer had already been agreed at a total value of €10m, the Gazzetta dello Sport indicate talks are still at the valuation stage.
It is believed that Inter are offering an initial €1m sum, plus a purchase option of €8m for Medel, where Cardiff are pressing for €13m.
The pink paper report, though, that the 26-year-old’s only intention is to join Inter this summer and that the English Championship side are likely to relent and come down from their current asking price.
