It’s reported Cesare Prandelli cancelled Galatasaray’s friendly with Roma because he’s afraid of Italian fans.
The Coach quit his job on the Italy bench after their World Cup group phase exit and within days had signed on for Turkish club Galatasaray.
He revealed that he and his family had received threatening letters following the debacle in Brazil, which influenced his decision to leave the country.
According to newspaper Il Tempo, Prandelli told friends he would not come to Rome’s Stadio Olimpico for the planned summer friendly between Galatasaray and Roma.
The fixture, expected for August 19, has reportedly been scrapped.
