Stefan De Vrij says he is flattered by interest being shown in him by the likes of Lazio.
The Biancocelesti have long been linked with a move for the Dutch defender, who was impressive during his country’s World Cup campaign in Brazil.
His agent has recently been quoted as saying his client would like to move to Stadio Olimpico. Speaking to current club Feyenoord’s official website today, the player did nothing to dispel the speculation.
“It is pleasing to be targeted by clubs from other Leagues,” De Vrij said.
“The experience at the World Cup has been very important for my growth. I was able to improve match by match.”
