Inter’s Jonathan says the Nerazzurri’s signing of midfielder Yann M’Vila will help the club a lot as they strive to meet their targets.
The Frenchman has still not been officially confirmed as a San Siro player but is present at the club’s pre-season training base in Pinzolo.
“He will do well, he has quality,” Jonathan said to Sport Mediaset of his new teammate, who has joined on an initial loan from Ruben Kazan.
“He is a great player and he will help us a lot. Personally I want to do better this year, we need to finish higher.”
The Brazilian then expressed his belief that Inter could finish in the top three and qualify for the Champions League this term.
“We need to try to aim for the Champions League and fight until the end with the big teams for the Scudetto.
“Mazzarri is even more motivated. Champions League? For me, we can make it.”
