Juan Manuel Iturbe will be unveiled as a Roma player this evening after admitting he was “happy” to join them.
The Hellas Verona starlet had been very close to Juventus, but failure to agree terms and the sudden departure of Coach Antonio Conte last night prompted Roma to clinch a €31m deal.
Iturbe was filmed entering a car with Giallorossi director Walter Sabatini and his entourage this afternoon.
Asked by fans wielding cameraphones if he was “happy to be a Roma player,” Iturbe replied only “yes.”
Other sides interested in Iturbe were Atletico Madrid, Milan and Benfica.
Roma also presented new buys Urby Emanuelson and Ashley Cole over the last few days.
