Juan Iturbe’s Roma move opens the door for Adem Ljajic, who is of interest to Milan, Liverpool and Manchester United.
Iturbe was spotted driving towards the Trigoria training ground with Giallorossi director Walter Sabatini this afternoon, so there can be few doubts he will be unveiled as a Roma player later today.
According to Sky Sport Italia, his arrival means there will be no room for Ljajic in the squad this season and Sabatini has also met with the Serbian’s agent Fali Ramadani.
Ljajic is wanted by several clubs, including Milan, Liverpool and Manchester United.
The former Fiorentina striker turns 23 in September and had already been ready to join Manchester United in January 2010, but work permit issues saw the move collapse.
Roma signed Ljajic from Fiorentina in 2013 for €11m, but struggled to get into the starting XI.
