Livorno confirmed “Verona, West Ham, Stoke City, Southampton” and Dubai clubs want Paulinho, but “he will decide.”
The 28-year-old Brazilian striker scored 15 Serie A goals in 35 games last season, but was still unable to prevent their relegation into Serie B.
It was reported today that a deal was struck with Hellas Verona, but Livorno President Aldo Spinelli told Tuttomercatoweb it wasn’t that clear-cut.
“Not only Verona are looking at the player. West Ham, Stoke City and Southampton are tracking him in the Premier League, while in Dubai two clubs are interested.
“As far as we are concerned, one club is as good as another. It’s up to him now, so he will decide the destination, then we will reach an agreement on the economic aspects.
“Paulinho will return to Italy tomorrow, then he’ll decide on his future.”
Livorno had rejected offers worth €10m in January, but Spinelli confessed “the valuation has dropped.”
