This suggestion is now being reported by more than one outlet today in the peninsula, with it being speculated that Conte held ‘a series of intensive talks’ with Milan.

Sportsmediaset believe also that an agreement in principle was reached, but that Juventus blocked allowing the Coach to break the final year of his contract with them.

This apparently resulted in his ‘reluctant’ acceptance to initially continue on with the Bianconeri, before the two parties separated earlier this week.
