The brother and agent of Stephan El Shaarawy says the player enjoys a special rapport with new Milan Coach Pippo Inzaghi.
The forward spent the majority of last season out injured but returned to action for the Rossoneri during the final weeks of the campaign.
Speaking to Ilsussidiario.net, Manuel El Shaarawy expressed his confidence that his sibling’s problems are now fully behind him.
“He couldn’t wait to get back to training, he can’t wait for the new season to start,” he said. “He has a lot of motivation and desire to do well.
“He was happy last season too when he returned to play at the end of the year. He wants to start the best he can, be physically fit and help Inzaghi’s Milan.
“I’d say there is a special relationship [with Inzaghi]. Stephan has already been coached by Super Pippo last year, when he played in two Primavera matches. Inzaghi is a Coach who listens to players.
“It was an unlucky year and a real shame, but the worst is now behind him. Now the present is important.”
