Daniel Agger has admitted he was not happy with how his season transpired last time out, fuelling rumours of a switch to Napoli.
The Liverpool captain was sidelined for the majority of the campaign by Coach Brendan Rodgers, leaving the Denmark international to lick his wounds from the bench.
Rafa Benitez meanwhile, is keen to reunite with his former player, as he looks to strengthen the Partenopei at the back.
Agger has conceded that he was disappointed with the lack of playing time he was afforded under Rodgers, and hinted at a possible exit.
“I’m not happy with how things went last season,” he told BT.
“There are a few things that need to be considered. In football you can take nothing for granted.”
