Mario Balotelli has reportedly requested an after-tax salary of €6.3m from Arsenal, if they are to sign him from Milan.
The Gunners have been speculated as ready to come in with a €20m offer for the Italy international this summer, amid continued reports that the Rossoneri are open to his sale at the right price.
The Daily Mail believes that Balotelli was approached by the London club a few days ago and that provisional contractual terms were discussed.
It is understood that from this meeting the 23-year-old made clear to the Premier League side he would be after no less than £5m net as an annual salary, coming in at around €6.3m net.
Balotelli is currently Milan’s top earner on a net income per season of €4m.
