Roma are reportedly looking to resolve a potential contract issue with Gervinho, with the promise of improved terms next summer.
It is reported that the Ivory Coast international’s agent has proposed that the club renew the player, but at a salary apparently €600,000 above the club’s suggested amount.
Reports today are that the capital club are seeking to resolve the situation before it becomes an issue, with a short-term solution in place.
The Eternal City club are apparently ready to commit to a deal that would see that €600,000 covered for 2014-15 in the form of performance-related bonuses.
Then, it is believed that Roma will hand the former Arsenal man the increased salary he is after come summer 2015.
Reports today also indicate that the Giallorossi will open contract renewal talks with Mehdi Benatia.
