Cruzeiro sporting director Alexandre Mattos has insisted that Robinho is not in their plans.
The Milan forward was linked with a switch to the Brazilian outfit late last night, with the player’s agent admitting that they had received an ‘interesting offer’ from the club.
However, the Belo Horizonte outfit have denied those rumours, claiming that they don’t want to sign the veteran,
“Robinho will not be one of our players,” Mattos told CalcioMercato.
“There has been no offer. Robinho is not in our plans.
“Where will he go? I don’t know. Let’s see. But Robinho won’t play for Cruzeiro.”
Orlando City now seem to be favourites for his signature.
