Ciro Immobile has admitted his delight at playing his first game for Borussia Dortmund following a summer move.
The young forward made the switch from Torino to the Bundeslga outfit before the World Cup, but after his exertions in Brazil, was back on the pitch yesterday.
The goalscorer played in a friendly match against VFL Osnabruck, but conceded it will take time to get used to Dortmund’s style.
“I finally made my debut in my new shirt against VFL Osnabruck,” he posted on his official Facebook page.
“It was nice to start, but with the advice of my Coach I will sharpen my skills and get used to the mechanics of the team.
“I have to continue with my preparations and be ready for the new season.”
