“There is an air of the Champions League in playing these teams, whilst our condition is improving, we move forward.

“Are we favourites for the Scudetto? No. That remains Juventus. Roma have definitely proven that they can stay within touch.

“There are new members of the squad that can now make a difference, and next season we will be among the contenders.

“In the coming days we will play against Manchester United and Real Madrid and these will be great events. Roma are known throughout the world, with the Champions League we will be even more so.

“Our physique? We are a still a bit behind in the legs, but in the head everything is working.”
