New Genoa striker Alessandro Matri is out for three weeks with a calf strain.
The forward, who is on loan from Milan this season, was ruled out of a friendly against Brescia this afternoon.
The initial reports from the training camp suggest a calf strain and 20 days on the treatment table.
This means Matri will probably be fit for the first round of the Serie A campaign, but not for any of their friendlies.
