The Granata will take part in continental competition for the first time in two decades when they face Swedes Brommapojkarna.

“We arrive with the same enthusiasm we had ending the last season, eager to do well, challenge ourselves and try a new experience,” said Coach Ventura.

“We want to prove what we have become, then the result on the field will tell us if we can go forward in Europe, but this must be the first step for constant growth.

“Torino must live up to their history. I won’t make promises, as I’ve cut that word out of my vocabulary, but I can say I want this side to continue growing and improving.

“We are proud of our fans and we want them to feel the same way about us.”
