Palermo Coach Beppe Iachini won’t sell Uruguay international striker Abel Hernandez, but “if someone offered €30m...”
The centre-forward turns 24 next week and has been with the Rosanero since 2009, but it’s believed Montevideo have a right to 45 per cent of any future transfer.
“Hernandez is our player, but if someone came and offered €30m then clearly we’d evaluate it. That goes for everyone,” Iachini told reporters.
Last season he scored 14 goals in 28 Serie B games, helping the Sicilians to promotion.
“With this organisation, this intensity and this mentality, we can help the squad grow further,” continued Iachini.
“Over the last three weeks we have whittled down the details and I am very happy with the work we’ve done.”
