Nemanja Vidic reveals the planning behind his Inter goal in a 2-0 win over Roma. “I was told to attack the near post.”
The former Manchester United defender scored his debut Nerazzurri goal in the International Champions Cup tie on Saturday.
“We did a great job in defence,” he told Inter Channel after the glancing header on a Dodò set play.
“Regarding my goal, the coach had told me to attack the near post because Dodò sends in some great balls. And that’s just how it turned out.
“With hard work we can still improve.”
Inter had a chance of reaching the Final in Miami, but Manchester United beat Real Madrid 3-1 to top Group A instead.
Manchester United will face Liverpool next week.
