It has emerged that Roma and Gervinho have agreed to a pay rise after his impressive first season.
The Ivory Coast international was one of the leading lights for the capital club last term, as he netted nine times and laid on 12 goals for the Giallorossi.
And after those performances, the club have agreed to the forward’s demands of a pay increase.
Gazzetta dello Sport reveal that striker will earn €2.9m per season, as opposed to €2.3m in his previous deal.
All other terms in his contract remain the same though, so the deal will expire in 2017.
