The agent of Barcelona’s Dani Alves insists Inter are yet to make any contact regarding signing his client.
Reports in Spanish media earlier today suggested that the Nerazzurri had made a bid for the Brazilian defender, who has only one year remaining on his Camp Nou contract.
However, Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has since played down the speculation and Bibian Weggelaar has now also added to the sense that reports of an offer are wide of the mark.
“Regarding whether the rumours that Inter want Dani Alves are true, you’d need to ask Inter,” Weggelaar told Calciomercato.com.
“We have not had any contact with Inter. They are a big club but we don’t know anything about it. There has been no contact with them so for us it is difficult to comment.
“Let’s see whether there is any change over the next few days.”
