Sampdoria have taken Emiliano Viviano on loan from Palermo and will sell Renan to Al Nassr.
The Blucerchiati have officially picked up goalkeeper Viviano on loan with option to buy from newly-promoted Palermo.
He spent last season at Arsenal, but should get regular playing time at Marassi.
Viviano is expected to undergo his medical and sign the contract on Wednesday.
Sampdoria are also reportedly on the verge of selling Brazilian midfielder Renan to Al Nassr in the Saudi Professional League.
The 28-year-old did not take part in training today and Sky Sport Italia insist he’s whittling down the final details of the move.
