Mauricio Pinilla has confirmed he is now a Genoa player after completing a medical at the club this afternoon.
The Chile international had been linked with a switch back to South America this summer after two years in Sardinia.
But today the striker has revealed via his official Twitter account that he has opted for a move to the Grifone.
“I am now a Genoa player,” he posted on the social network.
The 30-year-old could also be joined by Inter youngster Ibrahima Mbaye, who is set for talks with Gian Piero Gasperini’s men tomorrow.
