Napoli and Argentina defender Federico Fernandez is on the verge of a €10m move to Swansea City.
The transfer had already been in the works during negotiations for Michu, but according to the Corriere dello Sport that move is now ready for completion.
It’s reported Swansea are prepared to pay €10m (around £8m) for the Argentina international centre-back, who featured in the World Cup.
Napoli are prepared to release 25-year-old Fernandez after the arrival of Kalidou Koulibaly from Genk.
Fernandez has been at the Stadio San Paolo since July 2011, but had a six-month loan spell at Getafe in 2013.
