Atalanta have formally reiterated their support for Carlo Tavecchio as FIGC President.
After nine clubs signed an open letter urging both candidates Tavecchio and Demetrio Albertini to step aside, the 71-year-old appears to be keeping the support he needs.
“Consistently with the vote we expressed in the Lega Serie A meeting, we confirm our support for Tavecchio’s candidacy as FIGC President,” read an Atalanta statement.
The election is due to be held on Monday.
