Milan have not given up on Alessio Cerci, hoping to sign him from Torino on a paid loan with option to buy.
The Rossoneri have never disguised their intentions to bring in Cerci, but a splendid season for Torino has raised his price-tag to €18m.
Adriano Galliani met with Torino President Urbano Cairo in the Forte dei Marmi beach resort on Saturday.
According to La Repubblica newspaper, Milan have asked to take Cerci on a paid one-season loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
Atletico Madrid and AS Monaco are also known to be tracking Cerci, but Cairo said he won’t release him unless the player asks to be sold.
