It’s reported Milan will meet Adel Taarabt’s agent on Tuesday and offer £3m to QPR plus add-ons.
The Morocco international spent the last six months of the 2013-14 season on loan at San Siro, but the club did not take up its option to buy.
They tried to haggle for a discount and are now playing the waiting game, hoping to rely on Taarabt’s desire to leave London so they can lower the price.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan CEO Adriano Galliani will meet with agent Kia Joorabchian on Tuesday.
The offer to QPR is believed to be worth £3m (around €3.75m) with a percentage of any future sale owed to the English club.
Taarabt has only one year left on his contract.
