Urbano Cairo says he ‘won’t clip Alessio Cerci’s wings’, and that the next 10-15 days are decisive for Milan target’s future at Torino.
The 27-year-old has been continually linked with a move away from the Olimpico this summer, with the Rossoneri seen as leading interest in him.
On from reports of the San Siro side preparing an initial loan bid for the forward, Cerci’s President has once more reiterated Toro’s stance on the matter.
“It depends very much on him,” Cairo has told reported in Rome today, ahead of attending FIGC’s vote for their new President.
“For my part there is the complete desire to keep him. I would certainly not, however, clip the wings of our players.
“The next 10 to 15 days will be crucial.”
