Joachim Low has responded to Miroslav Klose’s announcement that he has retired from international football.
The Lazio striker called it a day on his Germany career this afternoon after winning the World Cup in Brazil.
And the Mannschaft’s Coach has conceded that the decision is ‘irreversible’.
“Last week Miro expressed his will to step down after talking with his family,” Low told reporters.
“I knew right away that his decision was irreversible because Miro has always been a reliable and honest person, as well as a great striker.
“He has given everything for Germany and should be thanked.
“He will be missed both as a player and as a man.”
