Lopez: Thanks Madrid

Diego Lopez has thanked Real Madrid for his time at the Bernabeu and says he hopes to complete his move to Milan tomorrow.

The Spanish goalkeeper was spotted at Madrid Barajas airport prior to boarding a flight to Italy this afternoon and briefly spoke to reporters.

“I hope to complete my move to Milan tomorrow, and that there is no problem during the course of my medical,” Lopez is quoted as saying by MilanNews.it.

The shot-stopper also placed on record his appreciation for his time at the 10-time European champions.

“It was a very important period in my life and all I can say is thank you to Real. I am very happy to be going to a club like Milan.”
