Massimo Ambrosini has confirmed that he is likely to retire from football this summer.
The 37-year-old has enjoyed a career spanning 20 years, having made his debut for Cesena in 1994.
The veteran went on to become a Milan legend, before signing on a free for Fiorentina this time last year.
But despite several offers to go abroad, Ambrosini has claimed that he is ’90 per cent sure’ he’ll go into broadcasting.
“I’m 90 per cent sure that I’ll stop playing and work in television,” he told Il Resto del Cirino.
“I’m sorry that I’m quitting after 20 years, it’s been a great career, and I have had a few interesting proposals from teams abroad.
“There have been talks with a few televisions stations, but nothing is definitive yet.”
