Atalanta director Giovanni Sartori confirmed he will sell “two of the three big players” this summer.
The Orobici have several star names in their squad, but the most sought-after is without doubt midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura.
“The team is already fully formed, so if something works, why transform it?” Sartori told Il Corriere di Bergamo newspaper.
“My work will be seen later on in the transfer window. It’s quite a thin squad, but we will work on outgoings with two of the three big Nerazzurri players.”
Bonaventura has been heavily linked with Juventus, Fiorentina and Inter.
He was also asked about reports Atalanta want to sign striker Victor Obinna from Chievo.
“It’s fantasy football.”
